About Wieliczka 

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is located about 15 km from Kraków and is easily accessible by car, train, public transportation, or as part of an organized tour.

Established in the 13th century, the mine operated continuously for hundreds of years and became one of the most important salt mining centers in Europe. What makes it truly unique are its original wooden constructions shafts, supports, walkways, and mining mechanisms preserved deep underground. These wooden structures are exceptional examples of historic mining engineering and craftsmanship.

Transfert to Wieliczka Salt Mine (30-45min)

After pick up, relax during the 45 minute ride, with interesting commentery from your tour leader. Wielicka is located around 14km from Krakow. After approximately 35 minutes, you will reach the Salt Mine, where you will learn the stories of medievial times of Poland.

Back to Cracow (30 - 45 min)

After finishing you will get out using one of two shafts located in Wieliczka. And after that on the way back you can be dropped off near the place of pickup at the City Centerof Krakow.
